Affiliate disclosure

Saddlebag Supplies may earn a commission if you buy through links on this site. This doesn't change your price.

Some links on our live list pages may be affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer may pay Saddlebag Supplies a small commission. Right now, most shop links are plain search links to the retailer, and those earn nothing. Either way, you pay the same price.

Links are marked with rel="sponsored", and we pick items for being useful and affordable, not for commission rates.

About the "General Store"

The Saddlebag Supplies General Store is a name for how this site is organized, not a shop that sells gear. We stock the list. The retailer stocks the goods. Saddlebag Supplies doesn't sell or ship any of the gear on these shelves. Every shop button opens a search at an outside retailer, and you buy from them. Prices, stock, shipping, returns, and warranties are handled by the retailer you buy from. The only thing Saddlebag Supplies sells is its digital guides (the "store-bought guides"), through a third-party checkout.

No endorsements

Store names (like Walmart, Costco, Dollar Tree, Amazon, or an outdoor retailer) are suggestions for where an item is commonly sold. They are not endorsements, and Saddlebag Supplies is not affiliated with or sponsored by these companies unless a page says so. Trademarks belong to their owners.

Prices and availability

Prices on this site are estimates as of Oct 2026. Actual prices, sizes, and stock vary by store, region, and date. Check the retailer before you buy.

General disclaimer

Everything here is general preparedness information for educational purposes. It isn't professional advice, and no list can cover every situation or household. You're responsible for your own decisions and safety. Read and follow product labels and directions, store fuel, batteries, and chemicals safely, and keep items away from children where needed. Follow instructions from local officials during an emergency.

Not medical advice

First-aid sections are general information, not medical advice. They don't replace professional care or first-aid training. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist about medications, allergies, and your household's specific needs. In an emergency, call 911.

The Sawbones role lists a few common over-the-counter products by type only, with no dosing and no health claims. Read and follow every label, and ask a doctor or pharmacist before using them. The "Emergency prescriptions" card is a referral to a licensed telehealth service; prescriptions are issued only at a licensed clinician's discretion, and Saddlebag Supplies may earn a commission through that link.
